Tool #10

APPS!! I love my iPhone! I have had it for a couple of years now and over the time have collected a good amount of apps! On my phone I have the following apps that I find fun and feel the students would be interested in as well...

1. Bookworm-word game
2. Wurdle-word game
3. Jeopardy-trivia game
4. Who wants to be a Millionaire-trivia game
5. iBooks-reading
6. Sound Smart-learning new words
7. 31 Seconds-trivia of the day
8. Words with Friends-word game
9. TanZen Lite-strategy game
10. Nine Gaps-math game

Many of these game would be useful for students to learn new words and expand their vocabulary.

    I love words with friends :-) I wish they had something similar for math.

    I think the apps on an iphone are great tools for kids to utilize for learning. There are so many great apps that make learning more fun and the kids might not even realize they are learning! I'll have to check out some of these that you posted and add some to my phone :).
